ConEst Software Systems

ConEst Software Systems was founded in 1989, releasing its flagship estimating program, now known as IntelliBid, in 1990. The company's founders are deeply entrenched in the electrical and data/telecom industries and it is their knowledge, experience and success at the core of their product offerings.
The company's product line has expanded to include a full cycle project management solution that establishes a work flow for our customers to manage a project from estimate and pre-construction thru all construction phases of a project.

Estimating
The IntelliBid estimating software is designed with direct integration between all of the ConEst products. IntelliBid receives automatic input from bid-spec projects using SureCount takeoff software and design build projects using ConEst Electrical Formulas. At the core of IntelliBid is the most diversified, industry-smart database of electrical and low voltage materials and prebuilt installation assembly kits that are backed by industry standards for material price updating and published labor units. Features like Smart System™ technology produce more accurate and competitive estimates with a system that details a project's work breakdown structure and allows for automatic adjustments to project conditions like installation difficulty as well as code compliancy and value engineering. IntelliBid estimates also include a repository to manage and docket project-related correspondence such as quotes, drawings, addendums and emails so that all project costs and details are stored efficiently within the estimate. Project work flow out of IntelliBid includes exports to MS Office applications, most major construction accounting systems and to ConEst’s project management software, JobTrac.
Takeoff

The cost and time to produce an estimate has been dramatically reduced since ConEst introduced SureCount takeoff software in 2007. Reproduction costs are eliminated, and the time it takes to manually count symbols and measure lengths from a set of drawings is dramatically reduced using SureCount. Material totals counted and measured in SureCount are then compiled directly into ConEst IntelliBid for a complete bill of material with pricing and labor hours.

Project Management
ConEst released JobTrac as a project management solution in 1998. JobTrac automatically receives all of the detailed budgets and correspondence from the IntelliBid estimate. Complete project management functions in JobTrac provide necessary tools for effective project management such as Gantt chart scheduling from the WBS, resource scheduling, purchase orders and field requisition material requests, inventory and time card management, submittal and change order tracking including schedule of values (SOV) and AIA progress billings. Exclusive functionality in JobTrac enables contractors to track actual versus budgeted costs that automatically update the current estimate in IntelliBid based on each company’s unique ability to perform historically similar projects -- we refer to this process as full-cycle job costing. Daily work reports from project managers are tracked within JobTrac using data provide by field personnel to report labor hours, weather, accidents or any miscellaneous job site conditions directly to JobTrac from any mobile device.

Bid Analysis
ConEst's bid analysis software, BidTrac, provides tracks the success of every bid in terms of your competitors and the customers you're bidding to. Win-Loss statistics of bid history helps you evaluate your opportunities and better manage future projects.

Design Build

ConEst Electrical Formulas (CEF) was introduced to the market in 1996. CEF is designed to complement the IntelliBid estimating software to provide our design build customers the ability to calculate and compile electrical loads and lighting designs while updating their IntelliBid estimate simultaneously for complete and efficient design and cost.

Calculate series segment voltage drops, NEC Article 220 Services and Feeders, fault current, load calculations, motor calculations, conduit fill, box fill and wireway fill. Current NEC tables in the software ensure that your calculations are precise. Electrical Formulas' Zonal Cavity Lighting function lets contractors combine the task of lighting design with the takeoff process. Calculate lighting requirements based on room dimensions and floor and ceiling colors with Zonal Cavity Lighting while completing the estimate simultaneously. No need to calculate, then estimate - with ConEst Electrical Formulas you complete the task in one easy step.
Service Management

ConEst's RapidDispatch (RDP) was introduced to the market in 2012. RDP is a cloud-based solution (SaaS) for complete time and material service scheduling in a mobile environment.
